Community groups, our name for small groups, are as diverse as our congregation, both in their makeup and in how each group carries out our mission of making disciples. We have groups for men, women, married couples, and other mixed (diversity in gender and life stage) groups. Each provides a place for its members to grow personally and be discipled as well as a venue for us to learn to be disciplers.
Our goal is that each participant in a community group would be motivated and equipped to share the transforming work that has already occurred in his or her own life. We share the love of Christ with others by the overflow of His Spirit in our lives. In community groups we strive to share life together, study the Word, serve in the Kingdom, and seek to disciple others.
At City of Refuge, we want everyone to participate in community life. One of the best ways to connect with others is to join a community group. To learn more about our community groups or find one that is right for you, contact Small Groups Pastor Don Taylor.
