Ready to jump in? There are many places to get connected, and we would love to help you find your place at the City of Refuge!
We meet for worship every Sunday starting at 10:30 AM. The City of Refuge Church is committed to providing universal worship as we cultivate a culturally and economically diverse congregation. Each of our worship services during the month uses a different approach to worship, encouraging everyone to experience and share in a variety of worship forms every month.
Communion - traditional worship elements
Contemporary Christian – modern worship elements
If you have attended worship at the City of Refuge a few times and are interested in learning more about the church, we invite you to join us for a simple lunch or supper. This is an informal meal where you can meet some members of the church and church staff. This is a great time for building relationships, and an opportunity to ask any questions you have about the church. These simple lunch/suppers happen once a month. Check out the calendar to find out when the next one is happening.
Ready to join the City of Refuge in our mission to reach “the least, the lost, and the left behind?” If you are interested in becoming a member please sign up to attend a new member’s class. At this class you will learn about the history of our church and what we believe. The class entails a Saturday meeting and a Sunday morning class.
We have a wide range of Sunday morning Bible study options for men, women, couples, and young adults. This spring we will also be having a study on financial peace and a “Through the Bible in 90 days” class. These studies begin at 9:15 AM every Sunday. We also have children’s Sunday school where kids can learn about the Bible at their level.
Small groups at City of Refuge (we call them Refuge Groups) are groups that meet during the week for a time of additional study, prayer, relationship, and accountability. They provide an opportunity to share life with other people in the church and to go deeper in community. We have small groups for men, women, couples, and young adults.
There are a wide range of needs in the church that you can help with! Whatever you like…whether it’s working with your hands, playing with children, or preparing food for special events, we would love to help you use your gifts to build up the church.
City of Refuge seeks to be a church that is working to reach the “least, the lost, and the left behind” in the community around us. We would love for you to join us in that mission. Please see the Outreach ministries section of the website to learn more about how our church is reaching it’s community and how you can get involved.
